We rescued Sunny in 2013 after being approached by a lady that didn't want him.

When Sunny arrived he became best friends with Muffin  instantly. They were inseparable and loved their life together, enjoying all sorts of adventures (we could write a book).

Sadly, after being best friends with Muffin for 10 years, Muffin sadly crossed over rainbow bridge in August 2023 after a long-term illness that we were managing. Sunny was overwhelmed with grief, and it took him a good year to process losing his friend. He was surrounded with love and support from us and his equine family during the process.

Sunny is now happy again and loves meeting visitors, having a photo taken and loves nothing more than a yummy carrot or treat from his supporters. He is a mighty pony who is not aware of his size and lives a fulfilled life. We do have to keep him out of the mud during winter as his legs are so small.

Sunny has a cheeky personality and can be stubborn at times, but he is very gorgeous and comical too.
