Gentle black shetland pony, Rupert, is 13 years young and has come to us as his human owner has serious health issues so can no longer look after his health needs. 

He is also our own black Shetland pony Sapphire's son! Who she hasn't seen for 12 years. So we have reunited them. It's been so emotional. 

They look so alike.

Also, our little pony Sunny knew him as a foal so he is over the moon to have his friend back in his life. 

Rupert has a chronic skin issue that we are focusing on to help him heal from, gently and effectively.
