Despite his large size, Max is an extremely gentle and sensitive soul and fits the description of a "gentle giant" perfectly. He was a grey and white coloured horse when we first had him but as he ages, he seems to be just grey.

Max loves to be groomed and have cuddles from our volunteers and at times falls asleep because he is so relaxed.

He also loves his food, but we must watch his intake due to his size. We love our gorgeous, gentle Max.
