Hilda was reserved and quiet when we first welcomed her and she didn't quite know what to make of her new surroundings but as the weeks went on, Marjorie, Dotty and Barbs helped her settle in and showed her how to be a chicken.

Has personality has now blossomed, and she is a confident little lady who's often the first to squawk at you when you have treats. She even comes running from the other side of the yard if she hears there are treats!

Hilda often needs encouragement to go to bed on an evening and we feel that she is asking for 5 more minutes. We feel this is because she now has freedom that she never experienced before and throughly enjoys it.
