When Chester's human friends are in his field, he likes to play with their hoods, zips and sleeves. He also likes to grab hold of muck pickers and swing them around as well as knocking over wheelbarrows full of poo!

Chester fell in love with Daisy, our beautiful white herd leader who always resembled a unicorn. She started the sanctuary in 2008 and has always been amazing. Chester would follow her everywhere and they were inseparable. Daisy sadly crossed over rainbow bridge on 31st December 2024, and it has taken some time for Chester to navigate through his emotions and process losing his wife. It took its toll on all of us.

We are happy that he is regaining his joy. He is our handsome, cheeky, ginger boy. We love his playful nature, and he is adored by us all and his horse friends, Bailey and Oscar. We love him
